Are

Are toppicture

Yes I am still alive...

Heihei
After a long time i give a living sign out to the world!!!! How is everybody?? All right?? Hm what did i do the last hm month?!?
Well i was in Are for another time to go for some snowboarding. This time by car, and in the middle of Are. The apartment wasn’t as comfortable as the last one and more expensive…. A bad deal. But it was worth it because i don’t know if i am able to get another time on the snowboard.
Anyway otherwise i spend some time with studying. Last week i had a midtsemester exam and i am writing some papers all the time, with more or less effort. After a lot of partying between the to are trips i had to reduce a little bit. So the exam was a good excuse not to go out.
I am always busy with sport as well. Mostly i enjoy playing innebandy how they call it here, or in English floorball. We won another game, the second in the season, but we also lost some times. Anyway it is still fun to play and that is what counts.
In university we had the chance to go to the anatomical laboratory and see and touch real muscle. That was a very interesting part of my studies and it helps to understand the functions of the muscles. As the midtsemesterexams indicates, are we here already pretty advanced with the second semester, when how i heard, in Switzerland the second semester just started.
Hm yes last week we had nice spring weather. I was forced, or glad, to get the thin jacket out of the closet, but as i learn the trondheim weather, so call it the norvegians, the snow came again. So today i went in my thick winter jacket throw 15 cm snow to the university. What is remarkable in the last few days is the time of daylight. So today at six thity leaving the university i thought out it is dark anyway, but no it was still light, how nice !!

Are

last sunday early in the morning a bunch of people (about 50) entered the bus headed to are (sweden) it was a very mixed group of people from all over europe! after a two and a half an hour drive we arrived at tjägerfjellet which is just beside are! there we deposed our luggage and headed the slopes for the first time!! it was very nice and i enjoyed it a lot to ride the snowboard. the two days in switzerland were not so fun on the snowboard. therefor it was even better! after getting back to the cottages (which is pretty early because the lifts close at 1500) . the cabin was realy nice and cosy. build like a typicaly norvegian house. in each house there were four appartements, two for seven or eight people and two for five. i stayed in one for seven people. we had about everything one needs like sauna tv microwave kitchen unfortunatly without dishwasher ...some had one....so it was very nice to stay there!!! in the evening was a get to know each other party which was hold at the erasmus people cabin. the next days was mainly snowboarding on the programm!! i had to get used to it like to get warm up but at the end it was fine! in the evening usually a two people cooked for the whole cabin. and after some sauna and relaxing we meet at the erasmus cabin for some social activities! on thursday after a short night i rented some telemarkskis togheter with another swisssportstudent. it was very fun to do it again. in the beginning very unstabil on the feet even the coming up the lift was a endurance training but till the end of the day it was a lot of fun!!! so that was my are experience were today the worldcup starts!! (we saw hermann maier-> definitly a ox)...

The most seen shower gel

walking into a public shower, one thing is not to be missed! it is the most seen and in this case i guess also used shower gel in norway ( i can just talk about menshowers (unfortunately ;))) anyway just the simple thing that you need just one shower gel which is good for your hair and your skin is absolutely the solution for an uneducated man like me in things like cosmetical products. in addition to that it is pretty cheap, so what is there to say against it?!? go for it..

Style

One of the first thing which i noticed in norway is, that norvegian like to style themself. Maybe not sooo much at university but if you go out then the style is definitly very important. Today i one of my new classmates showed dressed up with pink headband, a pink jacket and last but not least yesss pink rubberboots.... so nice.. ;)

Winter?!?

so after almost a week back in trondheim i am reclimatisized and fresh for new adventures... ;) i had to get used to the icy ways here. for example one time taking my normal way to university i noticed wow this is a lot of ice on the way... in the next curve i drove very slowly and carefully but after the curve i wasn't able to speed up again because my backweel had absolutely no traction....so i got of my bike and try to get off the way in to the grass but also that seem to be almost inpossible because i couldn't go either!! well after some slowly steps i managed that and lucky i got away... now a days i use the more comfortable road to drive on!!!
